         Rasam is an important item in South Indian food. The ingredients we put in this recipe are mainly for the disation of the food. It is very easy to make and you can serve within few minutes.

 

How to Prepare

 

Water                                                               -           3 Cups

Big size Tomatos                                               -           2

Coriander seeds powder                                     -           2 Spoons

Cumin seeds powder                                          -           1 Spoon

Dry Pepper powder                                             -           1 Spoon

Garlic Paste                                                      -           ½ Spoon

Ginger Paste                                                     -           1 Spoon

Salt                                                                  -           According to your taste

 

First wash the Tomatoes and crush them with your hand. Put this pulp in one vessel. Add 3 cups water and all the other things. Boil 15 minutes and season it. Turn off the burner. Add fresh coriander leaves and cove the vessel with lid.

Now the good smell of rasam will stimulate your hunger.

The same can be prepared with Tamarind paste also.
